Enriched Air (Nitrox) Course
One of the most important innovations ever in recreational diving. Nitrox is air that has been
enriched beyond the normal 21% oxygen. By cutting back on the nitrogen content of the air, nitrox will give you
longer bottom times as well as a decreased risk of decompression sickness and nitrogen narcosis.
Although enriched air is relatively new to recreational diving, military and comercial divers have been using
it to extend their bottom times for nearly 60 years. The United States Navy and British Navy have used enriched air since
the 1940's. The United States Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has more than 25 years experience with enriched
air. Recreational Divers have made thousands of enriched air dives successfully. Through these data and this field experience,
the no decompression limits for enriched air are considered as reliable as those used for "normal" air.
Through reduction of the nitrogen in the breathing mixture you will be able to substantially increase
your bottom times. A dive made to 50 feet on air, has a no decompression limit of 80 minutes, according to the PADI Recreational
AIR Dive Planner. The same dive made on 36% Oxygen Enriched Air would give you a bottom time of 220 minutes. The trade off
is that as you increase the oxygen exposure, you also increase the hazardous of oxygen toxicity. Much of what you will learn
in the Nitrox program deals with keeping your oxygen exposure within safe limits.

Deep Diver Course
Mention "deep diving" amid a group of divers and watch the reactions. Novice divers want to know what it's
like. More experienced divers, who have been a bit deeper chat with excitement. Deep Diving Specialty Divers, those qualified
to venture to 130 feet, the recommended farthest edge of recreational diving, also show enthusiasm, but tempered with respect
for the more serious nature of deep diving. There's something a bit attractive, exciting and mysterious about "going deep."
Through the Deep Diving Specialty Course you will be introduced to the techniques of deep diving and be qualified to dive
to depths as deep as 130 feet.
Dive requirement: 4 boat Dives over 2 days
Prerequisite: Advanced Open Water Diver
|
Tuition:$225/diver
Deep Diver Student Kit:$41 Kit includes:
- Deep Diver Manual

For more than one diver joining together, the second diver and beyond do
not need full Deep Diver Student Kit. The Video can be shared. Second diver & beyond would need only

Night Diver Course
Why would people dive at night when they can see the same dive site just as easily during the day?
At dusk, nocturnal animals such as shrimp, crabs, octopus and many nocturnal fish become active.
Animals that you will rarely see during the day will be out for observation by the night diver. Other animals that are difficult
to approach during the day, will let you get closer at night. Night diving adds a whole new perspective to an "old" dive site.
Dive requirement: 3 Dives over 2 nights
Prerequisite: Open Water Diver
|
Tuition:$150/diver
Night Diver Student Kit:$41 Kit includes:
- Night Diver Manual
- Night Training Video
For more than one diver joining together, the second diver and beyond do
not need full Night Diver Student Kit. The Video can be shared. Second diver and beyond would need only

Boat Diver Course
No hike from the car, No rock entries, No long surface swim, No surf entries or exits, need I say
more.
Much of the best diving in the world is accessible only by boat. Diving
from a boat can be a fantastic new experience but it can also pose new challenges. The PADI Boat Diver specialty is designed
to teach the diver the dynamics of diving from a boat. The course includes special instruction on boating dive techniques
and special safety issues.
This course consists of 2 days of diving, 4 boat dives, in the beautiful waters around Maui.
Dive requirement: 4 Boat Dives in 2 days
Prerequisite: Open Water Diver (12 years of age or older)
|
Tuition:$225/diver
Adventures In Diving Manual(PADI Advanced Course Manual): $33
If you already have the Adventures in Diving Manual from your Advanced Open Water Diver Course, no additional manuals
or student kits are necessary. All information pertaining to the Boat Diver Specialty is included in the Adventures
in Diving Manual.
Total Fees Without Manual:
- 1 diver:$225
- 2 divers:$450

Underwater Photography Course
Who doesn't want to bring back photographic memories of their underwater adventures! Not long ago,
taking pictures underwater was a difficult endeavor reserved for those with patience and a mountain of cash. Today, camera
systems are far more affordable and easy to use. Whether exploring reefs, or wrecks, diving the ice or at altitude, or diving
that local site you've done hundreds of times, underwater photography adds a new element of interest to every dive.
This course introduces the student to techniques for underwater photography. The course
teaches techniques, problems, and hazards related to underwater photography as well as special underwater photography principles.
This is a two-dive course. The use of an underwater camera is included in the cost of the course. Dive
requirement: 2 Dives in 1 day
Prerequisite: Open Water Diver (12 years of age or older)
|
Tuition:$150/diver

Multilevel Diver Course
Multilevel diving gives you the ability to increase your bottom time by gradually
ascending to a shallower depth during your dive. Through the use of the PADI Wheel or a dive computer, and the techniques
learned in this class, you will be able to do much more of what you got into diving for; explore the aquatic realm.
This course is designed to teach the diver the concepts of planning, calculating, and conducting multilevel
profile dives. Multilevel diving has advantages, but is sometimes more complex than single max depth dive planning. This course
is a two-dive course.
Through proper multilevel planning, you can gain virtually unlimited bottom time.
Dive requirement: 2 Boat Dives in 1 day
Prerequisite: Open Water Diver, Advanced Open water recommended (must be 12 years old or older)

Drift Diver Course
Many of the worlds best diving is in high current areas. Rather than fight the current, drift with
it. In some sites, the current carries you far faster than you could swim, sailing you along effortlessly. Drifting with the
current and not having to worry about returning to the boat, lets you relax and concentrate on the dive. This is as close
as it gets to effortless diving.
This course teaches the diver the joys and special considerations encountered while drift diving.
The course is a two-dive course. During the dives you will practice advanced techniques for buoyancy-control and
drift navigation.
Dive requirement: 2 Boat Dives in 1day
Prerequisite: Open Water Diver or above (must be 12 years old or older)
|
Tuition:$225/diver
Adventures In Diving Manual(PADI Advanced Course Manual): $33
